Château Bouscassé - Les Jardins Philosophiques - 2018 - Pacherenc du Vic-Bihl Sec

White wine

Description

The wine was aged for 10 to 12 months on fine lees in vats, with regular stirring to promote the expression of its texture and aromas.
No aging in wood was carried out, which allows the purity and freshness of the fruit to be preserved.
When tasting, this wine stands out for its great finesse and freshness. Its liveliness brought by a well-controlled acidity harmonizes perfectly with a delicate aromatic bouquet of meadow flowers. The whole is both mineral and very fruity, offering aromas of great intensity.
Its texture is rich, with a fatty and creamy sensation which gives it a beautiful roundness and an impression of softness in the mouth.

Know a bit more about the domain

Since 1980, Alain Brumont, visionary winemaker, has meticulously selected the best terroirs in the commune of Maumusson-Laguian, in the Madiran appellation. It is on these exceptional lands, located on the sides of steep hillsides and nestled on a limestone cliff, that Brumont decided to cultivate his vines. These soils, rich in clay and typical of the South-West of France, give the wines great singularity and remarkable depth.
