Château L'Hospitalet - Gérard Bertrand - La Clape - 2017 - La Clape

Red wine

Description

2017 vintage voted “Best red wine in the world”.
The harvest is done manually in order to take the greatest care of each berry. This wine is the result of a blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre, and each grape variety is vinified separately. Aging in new barrels for between 12 and 16 months is carried out, and only the best barrels are blended together to obtain this vintage.
On the palate there are notes of spices and delicate red fruits. The tannins are silky and velvety, a wine which brings out all the freshness of the fruit.
