Domaine Michel Gros - Fontaine Saint Martin Monopole - 2022 - Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits

Red wine

Description

The nose is seductive, and the aromas of ripe red fruits mingle with notes of spices and flowers.
The palate is supple, velvety, and the fine and silky tannins provide a lovely structure.
The finish is long, very aromatic, delicate, with a slight minerality delicately coating everything. It is an elegant and refined wine!

Know a bit more about the domain

The Michel Gros estate, located in Vosne-Romanée in the Côte de Nuits region, was founded in 1830 by the first member of the GROS family to settle there. Since then, subsequent generations have continually worked to expand the estate, which today covers 23 hectares.
The estate's treasure is the Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru 'Clos des Réas', which the GROS family has cultivated as a monopoly since its acquisition in 1860.
Currently, Pierre GROS, representative of the seventh generation of this line of winegrowers, continues and enriches the work of his ancestors with the support of his father, Michel.
Passionate and rigorous, Pierre carefully monitors the production of his wines, supervising each stage, from growing the vines to bottling.
