Selection cellar Maison des Millésimes Paris
The color is a deep, brilliant ruby with purple highlights.
The nose is pure, precise, and delicately expressive. It opens with aromas of fresh red fruits (raspberry, redcurrant) and black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry), accompanied by floral notes of violet and peony. There is also a subtle minerality and hints of white pepper and garrigue, which bring freshness and complexity.
On the palate, the attack is straightforward and slender, with a silky, fluid texture. The tannins are fine, elegant, well-integrated into a juicy and dynamic body. The balance is superb: the northern freshness of the Gervans terroir (a high-altitude lieu-dit) blends with a vibrant fruity depth. The finish is long and saline, carried by mineral tension and a delicate spicy aftertaste.

Domaine Combier, founded in 1936 by Camille Combier in La Roche de Glun, was built on a dual culture: vines and arboriculture. In 1970, his son Maurice adopted organic farming, a pioneer in the Rhône Valley, despite the reluctance of the time.
In 1990, Laurent, Camille's grandson, took over the estate with 5 hectares of vines and 15 hectares of orchards, built his own cellar, and created iconic vintages such as Clos des Grives, a benchmark of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation.
Today, his sons Julien and David continue the family adventure with energy, expertise, and a modern vision. The estate covers 25 hectares in the heart of the appellation, benefiting from the diversity of the soils between the granite north and the clay-limestone south, producing wines with a strong identity.
