Domaine Michel Gros - Richebourg - 2022 - Richebourg Grand Cru

Red wine

Description

This vintage is aged in new oak barrels only. On the palate, a refined bouquet of black berries, undergrowth, notes of morels mingle with light aromas of graphite.
The palate is perfectly balanced, nicely full-bodied accompanied by silky tannins like velvet, an elegant wine.
Light notes of white pepper at the end of the palate will reveal all the finesse and grandeur of this vintage.

Know a bit more about the domain

The Michel Gros estate, located in Vosne-Romanée in the Côte de Nuits region, was founded in 1830 by the first member of the GROS family to settle there. Since then, subsequent generations have continually worked to expand the estate, which today covers 23 hectares.
The estate's treasure is the Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru 'Clos des Réas', which the GROS family has cultivated as a monopoly since its acquisition in 1860.
Currently, Pierre GROS, representative of the seventh generation of this line of winegrowers, continues and enriches the work of his ancestors with the support of his father, Michel.
Passionate and rigorous, Pierre carefully monitors the production of his wines, supervising each stage, from growing the vines to bottling.
