Château Phélan Ségur is a red wine from the Saint-Estèphe appellation in the Bordeaux region of France. It is produced from a blend of classic Bordeaux grape varieties, mainly Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with a small proportion of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
The wine of Château Phélan Ségur is renowned for its powerful tannic structure, its concentration and its ageing potential. On tasting, it presents intense aromas of black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry) and red fruits (cherry), as well as spicy and tobacco notes. On the palate, it is dense and concentrated, with well-integrated acidity and firm but elegant tannins.
