Domaine Alain Voge - Les Côtes - 2022 - Saint-Joseph

Red wine

Description

Aging in 228 liter barrels for 16 months, without new wood.

A pretty nose where red fruits, violet and notes of sweet spices mingle.
The palate is well structured with a superb balance of red and black fruits. Beautiful volume on the palate, fine tannins and a finish of sweet spices.

Know a bit more about the domain

The activity of the family estate began in 1905, in Cornas, created by Henri Voge, great-grandfather of Alain, starting simply, as a grain merchant, then later, and accompanied by his son also named Henri Voge, fruit sellers and wine growers, while developing the estate. Alain Voge's father will then join the family team and be part of this agricultural activity. In 1980, and after the death of his father, Alain Voge put a stop to his profession as a distiller, and devoted himself solely to wine and vines, renovating and fighting for his estate, and for the Cornas appellation, threatened with revision. He will eventually obtain organic and biodynamic cultivation certification in 2016.
