Louis Picamelot, which has existed since 1926, is one of the first to start producing sparkling wines in the region.
After the Second World War, the sparkling wine was exported and left for Antarctica in the ships chartered for the first expeditions.
Until 2004, when the Millésimé 2000 cuvée was launched, the company grew and modernized. Today the house is managed by Philippe Chautard, knight of the Tastevin brotherhood since 2011.
