Description
Together we will discover an exercise very appreciated by wine lovers and professionals: a horizontal one on a single vintage: 2007.
Too often we compare wines on different vintages. However, many factors influence the taste and aromatic appreciation of a wine: climate, terroir, grape varieties, livestock, winemaking, time of care/ageing, etc.
The interest of the horizontal on a perfectly mature vintage (here in 2007, about 11 to 12 years of cellar care) allows to remove the factor guard /aging to put them all on equal.
Thus, we will be able to compare the evolutionary capacity of each of the wines on different terroirs and grape varieties. Who will do best? Bordeaux, Burgundy, Languedoc, Madiran, Spain, Italy, South Africa?

A cheese/charcuterie/crudités buffet will be offered at the tasting end.
