Know a bit more about the domain

The family estate of La Croix Mélier is located in the Loire Valley and extends over approximately 12 hectares, located in the communes of Montlouis-sur-Loire and Saint-Martin-le-Beau, in the heart of the A.O.C. Montlouis-sur-Loire, appellation exclusively planted with the Chenin Blanc grape variety, also called Chenin or “Pineau de Loire”.
Concerned about the environment, the vineyard is cultivated and vinified at the Domaine with a keen sense of the land and the deep bond that binds it to nature.
The soils of the vines are worked mechanically, without weedkiller. The organic conversion having started in 2019, the La Croix Mélier estate is now certified in Organic Agriculture by Ecocert since the 2022 vintage.
