Selection cellar Maison des Millésimes Paris
The color is deep red, almost purple, with violet hues.
The nose is very open and complex, marked by aromas of ripe red fruits and deeper hints of black fruits. Spicy nuances of black pepper, licorice, and leather blend with subtle floral notes of rose and violet.
On the palate, the attack is straightforward and elegant, offering a beautiful freshness that contrasts with the wine's richness. The wine has a firm yet very silky tannic structure, well balanced by lively acidity. The tannins are fine and dense, offering remarkable aging potential.
The finish is long, and the aromas of black fruits, spices, and earth linger harmoniously.

With simplicity and conviction, Jean-Louis Trapet perpetuates the legacy of his great-great-grandfather Louis, who founded the estate in 1870. For him, wine is above all a story of transmission, respect for the land, and time.
Today, he oversees 15 hectares of vines ideally located in Gevrey-Chambertin, including three grands crus (Chambertin, Chapelle-Chambertin, Latricières-Chambertin), two premiers crus (Petite Chapelle, Clos Prieur), as well as plots in Marsannay and the Bourgogne appellation.
A pioneer of biodynamics since 1995, he manages his vineyard gently, observing and supporting the vines rather than forcing them. The vinification is natural, and the aging is slow and careful in the cellar. This is an iconic estate for lovers of Pinot Noir and fine Burgundy wines.
