Description

Dedicated to the expression of the deep gravel terroir, with a dominance of Cabernet-Sauvignon, Château Dauzac reveals a bouquet of beautiful complexity, slowly revealing itself upon aeration. The tasting offers a subtle balance between the richness of the tannins and the aromatic diversity of the fruit wrapped in an ever-present suppleness, archetypal of great wines for aging. The Cabernet-Sauvignon dominates with its complexity, its elegance, its minerality, completed by the Merlot bringing roundness and silkiness. With a sustained color, Château Dauzac expresses a subtle balance where fruits, flowers and spices mingle with a complex fleshiness, tannins letting express all the emotion of the tasting.

The oldest known owner in this area of Margaux is Pétrus d'Auzac. He received these lands from Richard I "Lionheart", King of England, Count of Poitiers, Duke of Aquitaine, Count of Maine and Count of Anjou. Our goal? To continue to progress among the best Grands Crus Classés of the Médoc. Our focus is more than ever on biodiversity, to which we are committed with numerous projects. We will naturally continue to innovate, which is the true DNA of Dauzac. The diversity of the property's one hundred and twenty hectareś, mixing vineyards, meadows, orchards and wooded areas, has undoubtedly conditioned the understanding of the Château Dauzac ecosystem.
