The palate reveals great finesse and a velvety texture. The attack is initially full, followed by a mid-palate of great precision, with a beautiful freshness that balances the richness of the fruit. The perfectly blended tannins provide an elegant and silky structure, while flavors of ripe black fruit, cocoa, and noble wood gradually unfold.
The long and persistent finish leaves an impression of purity and complexity, offering subtle nuances of terroir, menthol, and slightly smoky undertones.

In the heart of Saint-Émilion, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Château-Figeac covers 54 hectares, all classified as "Premier Grand Cru Classé." Nearly a quarter of the estate is reserved for natural spaces to preserve ecological balance and biodiversity. This estate, a true "green lung" of the region, is renowned for its exceptional winegrowing terroir, consisting of gravel and blue clay, which forms a mosaic of plots planted with the three fundamental grape varieties that define the wine's identity.
For centuries, Château-Figeac has played an active role in local life and the influence of Saint-Émilion. Under the leadership of Thierry Manoncourt, the estate has worked for cooperation and innovation in the Bordeaux region, contributing to the region's international reputation. The Manoncourt family has also made a point of preserving biodiversity, with 12 hectares of natural spaces, including meadows, a pond, an arboretum, and hedgerows. This unique setting fosters a rich and balanced biodiversity.
The estate is committed to environmental protection, with ISO 14001 and HVE Level 3 certifications. Château-Figeac participates in wildlife conservation initiatives, such as the protection of bats and bees, in collaboration with organizations such as the League for the Protection of Birds and INRA.
