Dégustation privée
Selection cellar Maison des Millésimes Paris
Hand-harvested, aged for 18 months in oak barrels.
A remarkably refined wine, this grand cru offers its typical, intense aromas of red fruits and spices on the nose. With a lovely length on the palate, its complex structure pairs perfectly with meat in sauce or duck breast.

An iconic Burgundy winery, Louis Jadot has embodied winemaking excellence since its founding in 1859 by Louis Henry Denis Jadot, at a time when Burgundy's vineyards were booming. Originally from Belgium, he quickly developed a successful business with Nordic countries, before his son Louis-Jean-Baptiste and grandson Louis-Auguste expanded the estate and exported to the English-speaking world. In 1954, André Gagey joined the company and took over as director in 1962, following Louis-Auguste's untimely death. In 1970, the arrival of Jacques Lardière as oenologist marked a turning point for the company.
In 1985, Madame Jadot sold the company to the family of Rudy Kopf, a long-standing importer in the United States, thus ensuring its continued existence. Today, under the direction of Thomas Seiter, Louis Jadot manages 154 hectares of vineyards in Côte d'Or, Mâconnais, and Beaujolais, covering nearly all of Burgundy's appellations. The estate favors traditional winemaking methods and limited yields, with a strict ban on chemical herbicides. Each vintage, from the most affordable to the most prestigious, bears the iconic head of Bacchus, synonymous with consistent and legendary quality.
