Description

Clos Prieur, located in Gevrey-Chambertin, is divided into two parts by a road. This climat takes its name from the monks of Cluny (Prieuré de Cluny).
The estate's Clos Prieur Premier Cru offers all the typical characteristics of Gevrey-Chambertin, with intense aromas of black fruits, black cherries, herbs, and flowers.
Structured and assertive, it is supported by solid tannins and beautiful depth. It is aged for 20 to 24 months in barrels, 25% of which are new oak, then bottled without fining or filtration, thus preserving all its authenticity.
