Selection cellar Maison des Millésimes Paris
A mature, tile-red ruby color with brick highlights at the edges. It is limpid and beautifully transparent.
The nose is complex, marked by the evolution of tertiary aromas of undergrowth, leather, and truffle, subtly accompanied by candied red fruits (morello cherries, wild strawberries) and a hint of sweet spices.
The palate is smooth, elegant, and silky. The tannins are now perfectly integrated, giving a round and silky texture.
Aromas of black cherry and dried plum are revealed, blended with notes of mushrooms, humus, and aged leather.
The balance is remarkable, and the finish is long, racy, and subtly spicy.

The Arnoux-Lachaux estate, located in Vosne-Romanée, was founded in 1858. Since then, it has been passed down through five generations of the same family. Florence and Pascal Lachaux have been running the estate since 1995, and their son Charles Lachaux has now taken over. The estate covers nearly 15 hectares spread across fifteen appellations, including Vosne-Romanée, Clos-de-Vougeot, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Chambolle-Musigny, Échézeaux, and Romanée-Saint-Vivant.
Since his arrival in 2011, Charles Lachaux has profoundly changed the viticulture and winemaking methods: the estate is now certified biodynamic.
