Description
Capricious is born from the assembly of milk with alcohol: we first mix milk and part of the alcohol, then we add water, sugar, natural flavors. Finally, there is a second mixture with the rest of the alcohol. Then the magic happens!
Each bottle is composed of 30% milk, 17% alcohol (neutral such as beetroot, malt or calvados), water, sugar and natural flavors.
We would be delighted to welcome you to make you discover the distillery and its history and the work done to develop our whiskies!
Looking forward to seeing you again at the distillery of the capricious

Who are we? Proud of their native region, the Berry, Alexandre Rizzotto and Nicolas Guilloteau decided to sublimate the most emblematic resource: goat's milk. In the land of chavignol's crottin, the idea is not lacking in spice! Well versed in the world of craft spirits – Alexandre co-founded vodka La Philosophe – they were able to count on the support of a sector of local operators to launch the project in 2016, following crowdfunding. Since then the range has continued to expand in terms of flavors, but also through the use of cow's milk. In two years, 50,000 bottles have been produced. Today, the team consists of four people. We find La Capricieuse among wine merchants, delicatessens, cheese factories, restaurants and bars, all over France, but also abroad. The Vanilla & Hazelnut versions are present locally in supermarkets in France. The Capricious can be enjoyed alone, as an aperitif or digestive, in a glass on foot simply fresh or with crushed ice. It can be used as a base in a cocktail or used in cooking, in a sweet or salty version. See less
