    We advise guests and hosts to complete all transactions through our platform. Winebnb provides payment security and a refund in case of any issues.

     
  • Why should I stay on Winebnb.com for my transactions and communication ?
    Communicating on the Winebnb.com platform keeps a written record of all communications and transactions.

     
  • What happen if my booking request has expired ?
    This means that the host has not been able to take care of your reservation. However, typically we contact the host before reservations expire.

     
  • When will I be credited for my events or reservations ?
    You will be credited two days after the event or end of the reservation.

     
  • How can I send a message to a host ?
    You can contact the host on any listing page. Scroll to the bottom and look for the "Contact Me" button in their profile details.

     
  • Can I pay in the currency of my choice ?
    Winebnb accepts all currencies.

     
  • Who can become a host?
    Anyone with wine bottles they would like to share with fellow oenophiles and a place to invite participants!

     
  • What happens if a bottle presented by a host is corked ?
    If a bottle at a tasting is corked, the host may offer a second of the same bottle for consumption or a refund to guests.

     
  • How long does it take to confirm an application to become a host?
    It takes one or two days to validate your application to become a host.

     
  • Is there a minimum/maximum number of required guests for an event ?
    The host is free to set their own minimum and maximum numbers of participants for each event.
     
  • How should I calculate the price of my event as a host ?
    You can calculate the price of your service according to the number of people, the number of bottles and their price, as well as the margin you wish to make.

     
  • Can I organize or participate in a tasting session or event if I'm underage ?
    No one under 18 years old may take part in the winebnb.com services related to alcohol consumption.

     
  • Can I register for a tasting session in someone else's name ?
    All reservations must be made with the names of the participants. Guests will be required to present a document attesting to their identity.

     
  • Must the payer and customer name be the same ?
    While guests' names must be provided, you may make a purchase on behalf of someone else or as a gift. The names on the reservation and the credit card do not necessarily need to match.

     
  • What is the expiry time of a reservation request ?
    A reservation request expires after 48 hours if the owner has not responded to the request.

     
  • What are the cancellation conditions ?

Cancellation Policy for Accommodations :
- "Strict" cancellation 
         - If the guest cancels < 14 days, 0% will be refunded
         - If the guest cancels > 14 days, 70% will be refunded
- "Relax" cancellation 
         - If the guest cancels < 14 days, 50% will be refunded
         - If the guest cancels > 14 days, 100% will be refunded

 

Cancellation Policy for Public Tastings
- "Strict" cancellation 
         - If the guest cancels < 5 days, 0% will be refunded
         - If the guest cancels > 5 days, 90% will be refunded
- "Relax" cancellation 
         - If the guest cancels < 5 days, 80% will be refunded
         - If the guest cancels > 5 days, 100% will be refunded

 

Cancellation policy Private tasting
- "Strict" cancellation 
         - If the guest cancels < 3 days, 0% will be refunded
         - If the guest cancels > 3 days, 90% will be refunded
- "Relax" cancellation 
         - If the guest cancels < 3 days, 90% will be refunded
         - If the guest cancels > 3 days, 100% will be refunded

 

  • What happens if the event doesn't match the description once I arrive?
    Don't panic! First, try to discuss and find an agreement with your host. If you are unable to come to an agreement, we advise you to contact our user support hotline and we will find a solution for you. Call +33 972 434 211 or email contact@winebnb.com.

     
  • What happens if I shorten my stay for personal reasons?
    If you shorten your stay for personal reasons, the cancellation conditions remain those fixed at the time of your reservation (Strict or Flexible). Be aware, however, that you can request an exception from your host. They are the only one with the ability to change the financial terms of the reservation. Please note that some insurances, provided in your credit card contract or in your personal liability insurance, may cover, under certain conditions, your total or partial cancellation charges.

     
  • Who confirms the reservation?
    Hosts are responsible for confirming all reservations. They are expected to respond as soon as possible so that guests can continue their search in case a reservation request is not approved.

     
  • What are the terms of payment for events hosted or other services?
    When a reservation is validated, it means that the user has paid the payment card service on Winebnb. The funds are then transferred to an account specifically opened by us with the company MANGOPAY SA in accordance with our terms and conditions. Two days after the completion date of the service, and provided that the host has filled out their bank details in their user area, the funds are automatically transferred to the beneficiary.
