Know a bit more about the domain

Terroir: at the very top of Haut Barsac, bordered by Crus classified in 1855, Doisy Daëne is located on the clay-limestone plateau. This geological exception on the left bank has contributed to making the village of Barsac and its wines famous throughout the world.
Surface area: 15 hectares of Sémillon intended for the production of Doisy Daëne sweet wines. 10 hectares of Sauvignon blanc intended for the production of dry white wines exclusively carried out in the commune of Barsac.
We find the first mention of a Doisy vintage in the “Topography of all known vineyards” by André Jullien (1832). Doisy is one of the twenty crus of the first class of Bordeaux white wines, which includes five.
Since 2016, the fourth generation of Dubourdieu in Doisy Daëne has continued the family work.
